If that "freak kid drummer" shows real talent then build him up :)
I also played in a band for a while (I played the bass and lead guitar) but I started late, when I was 17, and I could not do what this kid is doing. I have downloaded the tablature of the Canon piece he's doing, I try if I will be able to play it.

WOW! Hwo can young kids do stuff like that? I run our childrens band at church and we have a 7 year old drummer that is an absolute freak.

I love seeing kids that have such an amazing talent.
